This morning one of our Cats received an enormous surprise! Izabella Rodriguez was the recipient of the Adele Harris Scholarship! Izabella will be attending Vanguard University in Southern California in the fall where she will be playing Beach Volleyball. Congratulations, Izabella! We are so proud of you!
In 2021, the Arizona Cardinals introduced the Adele Harris Scholarship to commemorate the 50th anniversary of Harris becoming the first African American female to hold a front office position in the NFL. Each year, the Arizona Cardinals will award one student who is interested in pursuing a career within the sports industry, a one time $10,000 scholarship to be used to pursue an undergraduate degree.
