We wanted to take a few moments of your day to share some exciting news related to Cienega FFA. To say this has been an amazing year for Cienega FFA would be an understatement. This past week we attended our Summer Leadership Conference/State Competition. Our very own Sara Kemp (freshman) placed 1st in our State Novice Extemporaneous Public Speaking competition! We are very proud of her and cannot wait to see what the future holds!
On Saturday Emmett Richter, our former Cienega FFA president, was elected to the Arizona FFA State Office as the Vice President-At Large!!
This is a huge deal! Emmett will be the first state officer to have come from Cienega High School!
This year 8 recent graduates were elected to serve on the Arizona FFA's State Officer team. Having Emmett elected is a huge accomplishment for Emmett, Kaycee and I, Cienega FFA, Cienega High School, and the Vail School District. This is something for everyone to brag about! We cannot wait to watch Emmett journey into this next stage of his life.
