When most people think of a high school Building Trades program, birdhouses, musical
instruments, and benches come to mind. Rarely does one picture a crew of teenagers building
luxury tiny homes for teachers in the local community.
Our very own CHS construction program is responsible for building tiny houses that are placed on a lot owned by our school district that are then rented out to teachers. These high in demand homes are a way for our students to create luxury tiny homes for the people who inspire our students; their very own teachers.
Once the tiny home is finished, the students help move it to our Vail Tiny Home Property, and it gives our community another reason to gather, celebrate, and embrace the accomplishments of our students.
This years unveiling will be held TODAY, Tuesday, May 21st in a ceremony starting at the Vail Chamber of Commerce at 4 p.m.

Thank you to Congressman Juan Ciscomani for these Certificates of Special Congressional Recognition to all of our Bobcats that have received academic and/or athletic scholarships this year.
