Meta Glasses began trending up last Spring and have become even more common in our community and on our campus. This is just a reminder that while we focus on prohibiting cell phone use during instructional time, our district language and code of conduct reference "wearable technology". This includes Meta Glasses and smart watches. If Meta Glasses are prescription strength, students will need to wear their old prescription glasses instead of the Meta Glasses during instructional time.

Got a student who's playing a sport at Cienega this fall? Join us on Thursday, August 13th at 6:30pm for our Fall Sports Parent Meeting. We'll be going over everything you need to know for the 2026 season. We'll start with a presentation in the Student Union, then split into the following break out sessions:

Want to support your local library? Starting Monday, you can drop off gently used children's, teens, adult fiction and non-fiction books in the Cienega front office to support the Friends of the W. Anne Gibson-Esmond Station Library. The Esmond Friends will sell donated books to support programs and services at our local library. We will be collecting books from August 10th - 21st.

We take the safety and security of our bobcat family seriously, which means being prepared in case the worst happens. Throughout the year, we will conduct various safety drills so our staff and students know what to do if an emergency situation were to occur on our campus. Check out our safety drill definitions here to have a better idea of what procedures different drills include. Information, communication, and preparation are essential to keep our school safe!

It was such a blast having our Freshman families on campus today for Orientation and Bootcamp! See you tomorrow for the first day of school!

Freshman families! A friendly reminder that Parent Bootcamp and Freshman Orientation is tomorrow at 8:00am. This is not a mandatory event, but can be very helpful as you enter into your high school era. Come and meet other freshmen and teachers and learn more about bobcat nation. Hope to see you there!

This morning, we welcomed back our CHS teachers and staff with our beginning of the year breakfast. It was great to have everybody together again!

If you were unable to join us for check-in days, that's okay! You can come by our front office next week to take care of all of your start of school needs. We will be offering make-up days June 20th - 22nd from 12:00pm - 3:00pm. No appointment necessary, just come on by and we'll help you start your school year off on the right paw!
