Hey CATS! Reminder, next Wednesday, November 2, 2022, will be a half day for all students. Students will be dismissed at 1:00pm and the buses will depart at 1:10pm. No lunch will be provided, so please plan accordingly.

Cienega Academic Decathlon's first Trivia Night happening tonight 6:00-7:30 pm! Come have fun and compete for the chance to win prizes like Free MOD Pizza, Freddy's, Crumbl, Cold Stone and more. Find 3-4 other family members, co-workers, friends, etc and form a team for a fun and competitive night of trivia!

Join our FCCLA for a Trunk or Treat on October 30th! All proceeds will go to providing Thanksgiving meals to local families in need.

NJROTC Cadets were busy this weekend assisting our school and community. On Friday 21 Oct 2022 our NJROTC Color Guard presented the Colors for Empire High School’s Homecoming activities and at the St. Rita’s Fall Festival. On Friday afternoon, cadets also assisted Corona Foothills Middle School with their Fall Festival. On Saturday 22 Oct 2022 our NJROTC Cadets assisted the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve and the Tucson Police Department with their annual Toys of Tots event at the Geico Headquarters Building. They helped sort and distribute toys to children in our community.

Congratulations to our 2022 Special Olympics Bocce Ball STATE CHAMPIONS!!! Saturday, our two teams competed for the state title, with Team 1 placing bronze and Team 2 placing the gold, bringing us back a championship. This is a grand accomplishment by our incredible students, who have put countless hours of work into something they love. Cienega Theater is kicking off their fall show, "An Avalanche of Murder" starting tomorrow with showings during the school day for students and teachers. Evening shows will begin Friday and Saturday in the Black Box! Doors open at 6:30pm and the show starts at 7:00pm!

We are excited to announce that we will be holding a HONORING OUR HEROES assembly this year on November 10th (9:15am-10am). This includes members of the Fire Department, Tucson Police Department, Sheriff Department, all U.S. Military Forces, Border Patrol, and Homeland Security and any Veterans. The assembly is meant to honor these members of our community and all they do for us. We will be celebrating this year's assembly in our Main Gym.
