Our CHS Life Skills classroom in the Special Education department was awarded a grant from the Vail School District Foundation. They used these funds to create a mock grocery store on campus. This store will provide hands-on actives to teach them skills such as sorting, entry level work procedures, etc. They will also learn about meal planning, shopping, recipes, and nutrition.

Congratulations to Mr. Erickson on being Staff of the Month for the month of September! In true Mr. Erickson fashion, he wanted to take his photo with some of his students! Always such an incredible teacher in and out of the classroom! A true CAT!

Mr. Erickson and Mr. Bever have created opportunities for Bobcat Nation to tour the world. We would like to announce the 2025 spring break trips will be to the UK/France and the Caribbean! Mr. Bever will be taking students to London, Dublin, and Paris while Mr. Erickson will be leading an adventure to Costa Rica and Panama. If you have any interest in traveling with us, please attend our informational meeting right after Parent Teacher Conferences on September 13th. Meeting will start at 7:00 PM in the Student Union - there are limited spots available so don’t miss your opportunity to reserve your seat. We do request that a parent or guardian attend with their student. We hope to see you there!

Your CHS Bobcat Football teams have a chance to win a contest sponsored by Hamstra Heating and Cooling. The team with the most votes at the end of the active voting period will receive $1,000 from Hamstra. Second place will receive $500, and third will receive $250. Please submit your votes by the end of the day on September 30th. Each device can vote once every 24 hours. Winners will be announced on October 14th. Lets show them #BobcatNation!
