Quick reminder: Federal Impact Aid Surveys are available NOW in your PowerSchool parent portal! In the past, Cienega has received over $20,000 from our parents' quick completion of the federal forms. These yearly funds are used to pay for things such as after school tutoring, additional picnic tables for students and fees tied to athletic or fine art competitions. Congratulations Austin Nielson for being a Commended Student in the 2025 National Merit Scholarship Program! Commended Students placed among the top 50,000 students who entered the 2025 competition by taking the 2023 Preliminary SAT/National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test (PSAT/NMSQT). Those being named Commended Students have demonstrated outstanding potential for academic success. These students represent a valuable national resource ; recognizing their accomplishments, as well as the key role their school plays in their academic development, is vital to the advancement of educational excellence in our nation. Cats Curbside Pickup: NOW AVAILABLE! Operational Hours: 11AM-2PM This service will be available in the designated parking spots right in front of our office. Simply call the phone number on the sign and let us know which Cat to deliver to your vehicle. From there we will check your ID to ensure you are on our list for approved pick-up, deliver your Cat to you and you are on your way.

NJROTC will be conducting their Annual Military Inspection on October 23, 2024. This is an opportunity for our Cadets to demonstrate what they have learned and conduct the traditional military Pass in Review.

The Federal Impact Aid survey will be open in one week! The surveys will be available online via PowerSchool on Wednesday, October 16th. You will receive and email on October 16th asking you to log in to your PowerSchool account and complete the survey for each of your students. We are asking that all forms be completed before Friday, November 1st. We will have paper forms available for families who wish to have one beginning on October 23rd.
